TomTom to sync with iCloud in order to make data more mobile
As of last week, the world renowned TomTom app for iPads and iPhones was updated to verstion1.13 which includes support for Apple iCloud and is compatible with the iPad Mini. With this update, the famous app will be able to automatically back up personalized settings, recent destinations, and POIs to the iCloud where they will be safely kept in the event of a device malfunction.
Also, the device will now synchronize data according to the app’s change log, once every day. The new version also includes an updated map data, stored locally on the device itself for offline use. This version is free for users who already own any of the previous versions and can be bought in the iTunes App Store for $39.99 by everybody else.
